Beginning and Ending Service
If you are moving within our service area or new to the area, or if it is time for you to move, here is where you can learn how to start or end your water service.
If you are a new customer and wish to start service with us, or if you are an existing customer and are moving into a new home in our area, please call our office (626) 793-6189 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please call at least 24 hours in advance of the date you need service to begin or end.
We need basic information in order to open a water account. Please have the following information available when you call:
- Property Address
- Mailing Address (if different)
- Telephone Number (work and home or cell)
- Driver License Number
- e-mail address
- Date Service is to begin
We bill our residential accounts on a bi-monthly basis (every other month). Our commercial accounts are billed monthly. Your first water bill will be prorated from the opening date until the next billing date, so your first bill may be smaller than normal.
If you are renting, we will need the owner of the property to complete and return a Guarantor Form prior to beginning water service. This form can be faxed, e-mailed or downloaded by clicking this link:
Ending Water Service
To end water service please call our office at least 24 hours in advance. We will need your name, address, forwarding address and phone number. You can expect a closing bill within one week of the closing date.
You must call and cancel service in order to end your liability. We will continue to bill you for water used until service is cancelled. We cannot back bill, as we are unable to determine the amount of water used prior to the property being vacated.
